SWISH16
Last updated: 2026-10-05
This policy explains what data SWISH16 ("the app") handles, and why. The app does not require an account or collect any personally identifying information from you directly.
Data stored on your device
Your game progress — career stats, coins, unlocked players/badges, local high scores, and settings (language, etc.) — is stored locally on your device and is never uploaded to any server we operate.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app shows banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google's SDK may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising ID), IP address, and general device/app information, and may use this data to personalize ads unless you've opted out or withheld consent.
Where required (e.g. in the EEA/UK), the app asks for your consent to personalized advertising via Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) before any ad is requested. You can review Google's own practices at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
Cloud backup
Cloud backup: when you sign in with Google, your game progress (careers, coins, levels, achievements, history and in-app settings) is copied to Google Firebase under your account once a day, or when you tap Back up now, so you can restore it on another phone. Only your account can read it, and it is deleted when you delete your account in Settings.
Crash reporting
When the app crashes, it sends a crash report to Firebase Crashlytics (Google): the error and where in the code it happened, the app version, the device model and Android version, and a random installation identifier — no name, email, location or game content. It is used only to find and fix bugs. You can turn it off at any time in Settings (Send crash reports). The app contains no analytics or performance tracking.
Online multiplayer
Online modes (Draft Battles, Coop, Predictions, Quiz, Bingo, Guess Who) connect to our matchmaking server over WebSocket. The server relays room codes and in-memory game state between players only — it isn't tied to any account, and is discarded automatically when a room closes or after 30 minutes of inactivity. If the server restarts during a game, the rooms in progress (codes, game state) are saved to the server's disk for a few minutes so both players can carry on, then deleted. When you play online, your team name and an anonymous player id are passed to your opponent so you can invite each other again; an invite (your team name and the room code) is kept in Google Firebase for the invited player and removed once answered or after 10 minutes.
Children's privacy
SWISH16 is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Advertising is not configured to request under-age-of-consent treatment; if you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll address it.
Your choices & rights
You can reset the Google Advertising ID or opt out of ad personalization in your device's system settings at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete data processed on our behalf (chiefly the transient multiplayer/ad data described above, since there is no server-side account data to begin with).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app changes. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date above.
